There is a unique opportunity to join KidsKonnect as Head of Product Learning & Communication. In this new role you will lead, build, and coach a team of product owners responsible for innovative software solutions for early years practitioners, teachers and parents and guide your team to the next generation platform.

About the job

Tasks and responsibilities

  • You own the product roadmap for the learning and communication tribe, including domains of early years practitioners, educational services, teachers, and parents
  • You lead, build, and coach a team of product owners with strong domain expertise
  • You drive the tribe vision and collaborate with peers from design, engineering, sales, consultancy, and support
  • You have a strong net positive contribution to the company’s P&L by driving innovations fueling product-led growth
  • You launch at least 2 disruptive products yearly
  • You help launch KidsKonnect in new markets in the next years and establish product-market fit for your domains
  • You have an outlook on major developments and trends for 1-2 years ahead and build an adaptive roadmap based on this  

About you

  • You have a background in B2C product management at scale-ups and/or larger tech companies
  • You are passionate about childcare and (early) education
  • You have 8+ years’ experience in product roles with at least 5+ years’ experience in leading teams
  • You have an entrepreneurial and experimentation mentality and ability to develop innovative, exciting solutions to existing business problems
  • You have an agile mindset and deep understanding of product discovery and product delivery, knowing when to use what methodology and at which dose
  • You’re an expert in product discovery frameworks and methodologies and have run major discovery initiatives in previous roles, enabling you to leverage all relevant playbooks where needed
  • You have a hands-on, can do, get it done leadership style, not shying away from doing groundwork yourself when needed
  • You have the ability to leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights that inform your roadmap
  • You have experience in 5+ major, portfolio product releases at previous companies
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch
  • You are in possesion of a Bachelor’s degree

Our central and team meetings are in Almere. This means that we usually meet each other in Almere. We also have satellite offices in Kampen, Haarlem, IJsselmuiden, Hoorn, Leiden, Brunssum and Waalwijk.
