As the Head of DevOps at KidsKonnect, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our DevOps strategy, with a focus on optimizing our software delivery, infrastructure, and security. This key leadership position connects our development and operations teams, aiming to streamline processes, shorten release cycles, and improve reliability. You’ll guide the development of our DevOps culture and collaborate closely with other technical teams to ensure a smooth, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
Strategy Development: Formulate and execute a DevOps vision focused on scalability, automation, and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the DevOps team, fostering their professional growth.
CI/CD Optimization: Enhance continuous integration and delivery pipelines to support faster and more reliable releases.
Automation and Security: Automate processes where possible and oversee our cloud infrastructure to ensure it meets high standards of security and stability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development and product teams to enable continuous integration, improve feedback loops, and support deployment.
Incident Management: Handle incident and problem resolution to ensure minimal disruption to services.
You are an experienced DevOps professional with a strong technical background and demonstrated leadership skills. You think strategically while maintaining a hands-on approach when necessary. You also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions.
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a similar role.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field, such as Computer Science.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think both strategically and operationally.
