About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Culture & Communication Manager to play a crucial role in fostering a positive and engaging workplace environment. As the Culture & Communication Manager, you will be responsible for managing internal events and initiatives, developing and implementing internal communication plans, creating engaging content and ensuring that our employees are well-informed, engaged, and aligned with our company's goals and values.

Your responsibilities

  • You will develop and execute internal communication strategies to enhance employee engagement, productivity and alignment with company goals;
  • You will promote, expand and refine our culture based on our core values: "stimulating", "trustworthy", "ownership" and "dedicated";
  • You will plan and execute internal events, workshops, and team-building activities to strengthen our company culture;
  • You will create compelling and informative content for various internal communication channels including newsletters, intranet, emails and presentations;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for communication initiatives;
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication and events through feedback and metrics;
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all internal communication materials;
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in internal communication and employee engagement;
  • You will work closely together with the entire Marketing and HR team. 

About you

  • You have a bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, or a related field; 
  • You have proven experience in internal communication, event planning or employee engagement roles;
  • You are independently capable of establishing and expanding this role and giving a significant boost to all internal communication;
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • You have strong project management and organizational skills;
  • You are punctual, proactive and capable of working independently;
  • You must possess creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative communication strategies for this role;
  • You are proficient in utilizing communication tools and software;
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team;
  • To strengthen relationships with your colleagues, we expect you to work from our headquarters in Almere for at least 2 days per week;
  • You are willing to occasionally travel to our foreign offices;
  • You are available to work 32 – 40 hours per week;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English (standard language in which we communicate internationally with each other), other languages such as German and French are a plus.
